Peru Santos Flores Cordova is a single origin from Back to Black in Amsterdam. The beans come from Huabal, Jaén, Cajamarca at 1,860 meters. Farmer Santos runs the farm and the washing station with her daughter. The coffee is washed and lightly roasted, with a clean cup, bright citrus, tropical fruit, a honey-sweet undertone, and floral aromas. Suitable for filter and a light, fruity espresso. Caturra and Pache add complexity. Packed in resealable 250 g bags and available online, with an accessible price and direct trade that supports smallholders and women.
