This single origin from Sul de Minas, Brazil comes from the Jaguara farm of André Luiz Garcia, Natalia Moreira, and Benício. The 100 percent Arabica varieties Yellow Catucai and Yellow Catuai are naturally processed, resulting in a full body and a light fruity sweetness. Expect notes of bittersweet chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut, and soft red apple, with an elegant acidity and a long, non-intrusive finish. Locally freshly roasted in small batches and packaged with an aroma valve. Fair2Farmer certified. Versatile for espresso, filter, Chemex, French press, Aeropress, fully automatic, and as cold brew. With milk, the soft character remains beautifully intact.
This single origin comes from Sul de Minas in southern Minas Gerais, Brazil. At an altitude of about 1100 meters, the ideal climate allows for slow ripening. The farm or cooperative is Jaguara, with producers André Luiz Garcia, Natalia Moreira & Benício. This coffee is specialty, screen 16/18, with Fair2Farmer certification.
Roasting is done locally in small batches, always fresh per order. The packaging has an aroma valve for degassing and maintaining the bouquet. No explicit roast level mentioned, but the profile is accessible and soft.
The beans are 'dried in the cherry' according to the natural method. This natural drying process contributes to a full body and light fruity sweetness.
Versatile coffee: suitable for espresso, filter, Chemex, French press, Aeropress, percolator, fully automatic machines. Cold brew results in a smooth, refreshing cup. With milk (like cappuccino or latte), the soft body stands out beautifully.
Packaging includes an aroma valve for degassing and preserving flavor. The first impression of the packaging (via images) suggests a well-designed look; specific style (color, logo) not described.
