This Kenya Arabica grows in the highlands on red volcanic soil, coffee cherries are hand-picked during two harvest periods, De Pelikaan roasts to a medium level so lively acidity and sweet berry tones stay in balance, the coffee is washed for a clean, clear taste, classic varieties SL28, SL34, K7 and French Mission Bourbon ensure quality, the aroma shows blackcurrant, floral hints and citrus, ideal for filter with freshly ground coffee, water around 93°C and a dose of sixty grams per liter, as an espresso it delivers a powerful, wine-like, tangy cup, family farmers use shade cultivation and fair auctions, the coffee is available year-round in the shop and webshop
