Vietnam is the world’s largest Robusta producer and is known for powerful, full-bodied coffees with low acidity and firm bitterness. Increasingly, Arabica beans are also grown in higher-altitude areas. The traditional "Vietnamese iced coffee" with condensed milk underlines the robust character of this coffee. Coffee culture is widespread there and plays an important economic role.
