More About Caffeine Dealers

The Power of Coffee and Reintegration
In Eindhoven, Caffeine Dealers combines artisanal coffee with social impact. The social enterprise was founded in 2016 by GGzE. On 29 June 2017, the roastery officially opened its doors at Landgoed De Grote Beek. The goal is clear: to offer meaningful work to people with mental vulnerabilities. Instead of passive day activities, they actively learn a trade. Tom Niesten, Service Center Manager at GGzE, is the strategic driving force behind the mission. Thijs Vonk, as the operational face, leads the daily training sessions. Jasmijn van Kooten was heavily involved in the project as a coordinator during the startup phase.
Organic, Fairtrade, and Freshly Roasted
Caffeine Dealers promises daily fresh roasts for home enthusiasts, offices, and the hospitality sector. The brand communicates primarily through core values such as organic and Fairtrade. This focus ensures better trading terms for farmers and environmental protection. Technical roasting details or complex transparency reports are absent from their public communication; instead, the current assortment centers around three accessible and consistent flavor profiles:

Sumatra: A full-bodied, spicy coffee with notes of roasted hazelnut, dark chocolate, and earthy warmth.
Honduras: The newest profile, featuring a medium body and fresh flavors of orange, red apple, and milk chocolate.
Houseblend: A blend developed specifically for GGzE. This combines seventy percent Indonesian Mandheling with beans from Peru and Mexico for a robust finish.

From Vulnerability to Craftsmanship
The social model links daily activity to a professional learning trajectory. Participants get to know the entire production process, roasting, grinding, and packaging the beans with great care. They also train in barista skills and hospitality standards. Their success is evident in the public stories of participants like Ian and Jacqueline, who openly share how they are growing in their work. The Driessen Foundation recently funded a new roastery and training location, allowing fifteen participants to further develop into professional barista’s.
Their own coffee bar forms the heart of the operation. This location is open Tuesday through Friday between 09:00 and 16:00. The building is located just fifteen minutes from the city center. Visitors enjoy not only fresh coffee but also homemade sweets. Participants bake fresh butter cake and the local specialty Martjeskoek here daily.
Business Impact and Selective Growth
For the corporate market, the roastery offers a powerful proposition. Through their coffee procurement, companies contribute directly to Social Return obligations and broad CSR goals. The company consciously chooses steady growth, referring to this selective strategy as “exclusive inclusivity.” A delivery reliability of one hundred percent is always central. Major corporate partners such as ASML, Albron, and APPM now serve this coffee on the work floor.
Additionally, partner UpTo Coffee offers a specialized concept for the business market. This complete package bundles a coffee machine, the beans, and associated supplies for offices and hospitality. With this professional approach, Caffeine Dealers strengthens its position within the Dutch specialty coffee landscape. The brand delivers quality coffee while remaining true to its powerful company slogan: Exceptional Coffee by Remarkable People.
