Yemen

Yemen has one of the oldest coffee traditions in the world, with terraces in mountainous areas and a dry climate. The coffees often feature deep, complex flavours, ranging from fruity, wine-like to spicy and chocolatey. Production volumes are small, but quality is high. Traditionally, Yemeni coffee is known as 'Mokka,' a term that refers to the historic port city of Mocha.
