Robuust from Maalwerk Koffie is a dark-roasted blend for lovers of classic espresso. The beans come from Central and South America and Africa, and are washed processed. This results in a clean and tight profile.

In the cup, you taste dark chocolate, caramel, and a hint of vanilla. The body is full and creamy, while the acidity remains low. In milk, notes of toffee emerge, whereas cocoa and molasses dominate as an espresso.

Brewing advice: aim for a 1:2 ratio with a brew time of 25 to 30 seconds. Suitable for espresso and lungo, and powerful in a cappuccino or flat white.
