Dak Lak is Vietnam’s primary coffee region, featuring extensive plantations at altitudes of around 500–800 meters. Robusta dominates, creating an intense, earthy, and bittersweet profile. Driven by growing interest in specialty coffee, some producers here are also experimenting with Arabica varieties and alternative processing methods. Dak Lak is the beating heart of Vietnam’s thriving coffee industry.
