Espresso Melange from De Pelikaan is a powerful house blend featuring Brasil Santos and beans from Huehuetenango in Guatemala. The natural Brazilian coffee provides body and nutty notes, while the washed Guatemalan component brings more character and light wine notes.
Due to the dark roast, the blend has a full, punchy flavor with a long, slightly bitter finish. This coffee is particularly suited for manual espresso and milk-based drinks. The roaster advises against using it in super-automatic machines.
