Superior

Usawa Superior is a smooth, layered blend with a distinct Colombian core. Specifically, the Argote beans from Nariño provide sweetness, balance, and a creamy mouthfeel. These are followed by notes of hazelnut, dark chocolate, almond, and sweet spices. The medium-light roast keeps the profile clear and round, without smoke or sharp bitterness. Consequently, this coffee feels familiar, but not flat. Usawa does not provide an exact recipe, but recommends Superior for espresso, moka pot, and lungo from a fully automatic machine. This complements the full body, mild acidity, and long, velvety finish.
