Nougat Drift from Van Hoop is an accessible single origin from Pangalengan in West Java. This filter roast comes from the Sunda Tilu project by Pak Asep Rukman and combines half washed with half honey. As a result, you taste a clean cup with soft sweetness, a creamy mouthfeel, and notes of nougat, cashew, and white chocolate.
The coffee scores 85.5 points according to the SCA and clearly demonstrates how origin, processing, and careful roasting come together. Van Hoop recommends filter with 15 grams of coffee to 250 milliliters of water.
