De Pelikaan Java doesn’t actually come from Java, but from the highlands of Sulawesi. This Typica grows in volcanic soil and receives ample rainfall, which provides depth and structure to the cup.

The semi-washed process gives this coffee a rich body, mild acidity, and a smooth finish. This makes it a great fit for lovers of Indonesian coffee with spicy, rounded flavors. The roaster doesn’t provide an exact brewing recipe, but does offer grind options for espresso, filter, AeroPress, Chemex, and cafetiere.
