Doppio from Frans de Grebber is made for those seeking a powerful, stable espresso every day. This coffee from the Professional line consciously opts for a double roast. As a result, you taste more depth, a full body, and very little sharp bitterness. Fruity terroir notes are less central; instead, the focus is on balance, strength, and a clean finish. This makes Doppio interesting for black espresso and milk-based drinks. While an exact recipe is missing, the roaster offers this coffee as either whole beans or ground for espresso, moka pot, drip filter, Chemex, and cafetière.
