Las Nubes from Nordic Roasting hails from Planadas in Tolima, grown at 1700 to 2000 meters. It is a washed lot featuring Castillo, Colombia, and Caturra. The light roast is crafted for filter, preserving fresh citrus, caramel, and milk chocolate. The cup tastes clean with vibrant acidity, a creamy body, and a crisp finish.
- Recipe starting point: 60 grams per liter, medium-fine grind, total brew time 2:45 to 3:15.
- Pour slowly in pulses to keep the citrus notes tight and maintain balance.
- For batch brew, choose a slightly coarser grind to ensure even extraction with larger volumes.
- Best suited for V60, Kalita, and other filter methods.
