Descafeinado

Descafeinado is a decaffeinated Colombian Arabica from El Santuario in Risaralda. Farmers hand-pick only the ripest cherries from volcanic soils, resulting in rich, complex flavors. The medium-dark roast is performed on a Giesen W6 and takes place weekly in Utrecht to ensure maximum freshness. In the cup, you will find notes of brown sugar, caramel, and a subtle fruity accent, with a full body that works beautifully for both filter and espresso. The coffee is decaffeinated using ethyl acetate derived from sugarcane, preserving its natural aroma and sweetness. The Castillo and Caturra varieties offer a balanced combination of sweetness, clarity, and aroma.
