Sluyse koffie from Café du Jour brings Maassluis into your cup. The blend of Arabica and Robusta comes from Colombia, Guatemala, and Indonesia. Expect roundness with notes of nuts and chocolate, a medium acidity, and a spicy finish. The medium roast keeps the bean dry and is gentle on equipment. It is freshly roasted in small batches weekly, using valve bags for consistent quality. Preferably grind just before brewing. The coffee often tastes its best between week one and four. The blend holds its own as an espresso and in milk-based drinks.
